What is a Shamanic Session?

Shamanic practices create a strong bond with Living Spirit, your Spirit Helpers, and the Earth. You will be introduced to Spirit Helpers whose purpose is to give you perspective and to assist you in your Earth Walk.
As these relationships become more seasoned and fully nourished you'll be able to walk your highest path.
Shamanic sessions are one-on-one by telephone with mentor Frank Schleicher. Through these sessions, your journey with Living Spirit and the Helpers will be tailored to fit you.
You may encounter one or more of the traditional Shamanic Session experiences below, but your process will be as individual as you are.

Session with ...
I was born and raised in the Midwest with family ties to Colorado and the mountains. Today, I live full-time in the fast moving world of Metro Chicago. For 15 years I worked in downtown Chicago, less than a block from Michigan Avenue.
My first "experience of the mountains" came when I was four years old. I had brave and determined parents! Today, I spend time on the land in Colorado, north and west of Denver, where I share a home at 9,000 feet with extended family.
In 2003, the Ancient Ways Training Center for the Shamanic Arts certified Frank Schleicher Stargazer as a Shamanic Professional with specialties in Shamanic Journey Facilitation, Soul Retrieval, and Wisdom Gathering.
Shamanism in the City?
Individuals all have their own, personal connection with the Land, someplace that touches them, that holds something special for them. It may not be in a place like Chicago or in the City where they live, but someplace distant or even waiting for them in some future time. Shamanism calls out to experience and explore that connection.

Kinds of Shamanic Sessions
The Introductory Series - Often Four Sessions
A powerful avenue for growth comes through a set of open-intention sessions.
Frank interacts with the Spirit Helpers on your behalf, inviting them to lead the way in addressing what will most help your forward movement in life.
Usually, the series takes place over three to four weekly sessions. This allows the Helpers to craft a foundational process, building on each session. Cost is $355 for a four session series. (A single scheduled session is $105).
The Wisdom Gathering
For life purpose issues, parenting, relationships, and other challenges, Frank meets with the Spirit Helpers on your behalf. He speaks aloud as the session unfolds for deep integration.
This is mature insight. The Helpers offer no-nonsense clarity, pointing out core dynamics and recommending change on a foundational level. Layers of insight are woven within the session that will often serve as a compass for years to come. Different themes may include:
- vocational decisions
- dealing with stuckness
- parenting choices and strategies
- relationships (personal and professional)
- mending a broken heart.
The Helpers never tell us "what to do" which interferes with our own personal authority. Rather, they support us in seeing clearly and making good decisions in light of Wisdom.
Cost is $120 and the session lasts at least an hour, often much longer.
Soul Retrieval Healing
Trauma, loneliness, loss of a loved one... experiences like these can cause our souls to fragment. Parts of our authentic energy "check out" and we become less engaged in life.
Signs of soul loss can include fatigue, fuzzy memories, depression, etc. The experience of Soul Retrieval is more than a process or technique. It is a sacred event. Many layers are woven within the experience and will impact your well being for years to come.
In this style of Soul Retrieval, Frank connects with your heart energy and with the Spirit Helpers. He speaks aloud so that you overhear the process and integrate your soul parts as the experience unfolds. This form of soul retrieval is exceptionally effective and profoundly healing.
Cost is $120.
Journeying Alone?
For those who Journey alone and would like the support and feedback of a seasoned facilitator, once monthly sessions are available after the initial four-week mentorship.
This includes a teaching-discussion time and short facilitated Shamanic Journey. Cost is $105 for the ongoing monthly session, which lasts at least an hour, usually longer. Monthly appointments are helpful. However greater consistency is recommended if you're experiencing a time of intense challenge or strong growth.
Journeying by Phone?
There is no loss of energetic support and presence through distance shamanic sessions. In fact there is often a deeper connection. This is because interaction by voice and energy is often stronger without the distraction of the physical. It is important to have privacy for your session and to schedule at least 15 minutes to relax and prepare. A time for integration afterward is also important.
A quality telephone headset is a very good idea but not crucial for single sessions or short series. Please note that ear buds without mouth microphone as well as speaker telephones do not carry the energetic qualities needed for this work.
